If you put a drop of lemon oil in a styrofoam cup, it will eat right through the fake material. If you put it on a strawberry, or your hand, it does not. We are real living matter and those other things are synthetic products. Big difference!

Sugar Face Scrub
1c sugar
15 drops certified pure therapeutic grade lemon oil
Enough grapeseed or olive oil to make it a good consistency.
Mix in small jar!
DIY Fruit & Veggie Wash
20 drops Lemon oil
2/3 cup distilled water
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
Mix in 8 ounce spray bottle.
To use, shake the liquid well and spray on produce in a strainer.
Let sit for 2-3 minutes and then rinse and let the produce dry.
Sore Throat/Cold Remedy
Cup of warm water
1 drop of certified pure therapeutic grade lemon oil
Drizzle of local honey
Dash of cinnamon
Drink and enjoy!
Cooking with Lemon Essential Oil
Lemon Crinkle Cookies
1 box of white cake mix
10 drops certified pure therapeutic grade lemon essential oil
1/3 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
*Optional- add blueberries to batter
Mix together, form a 1 inch ball, roll in powdered sugar, bake in oven for 10-12 minutes at 350.
Gluten Free Gooey Butter Lemon Cookies
1 Gluten Free Yellow Cake Mix
8 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
2 large eggs (room temperature)
1 stick butter (room temperature)
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
8 drops Lemon essential oil
Confectioners (powdered) sugar
Parchment paper or silicone mat for cookie sheet
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cream butter, eggs, cream cheese 3-5 minutes until light and fluffy.
Add vanilla extract and lemon oil. Scrape down sides and beat another minute.
Add dry cake mix to above mixture and mix thoroughly.
Move mixture to a glass bowl and chill 30 minutes.
(Glass bowl because using citrus essential oil.)
Make 1 inch balls, roll in powdered sugar, and place on lined cookie sheet.
Bake 12 minutes and remove from cookie sheet and place on cookie cooling rack to cool.
Lemon Cream Cheese Cookies
2 oz cream cheese
6 Tablespoons of unsalted butter, softened
1/4 cup plus 1 Tablespoon powdered sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
1 Egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon Baking Powder
1/4 teaspoon Baking Soda
1-3/4 cup flour
15 drops of Lemon essential oil (more or less, depending on how lemon-y you want them)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cream the butter, cream cheese and sugars together until smooth. Add the essential oil drops, vanilla and eggs and mix again.
In a separate bowl mix together all of the dry ingredients so they can become well incorporated into the dough. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix well.
Scoop cookies onto a baking sheet and bake for 9-10 minutes, remove from the oven and dust with powdered sugar.
*The amount of Lemon oil that you use will determine how lemony the cookies are, but remember that the cookie dough will be stronger in flavor than the baked cookies.*
